Smart charging system for up to 16 electric cars
The Heidelberg Wallbox Energy Control is the perfect charging solution for garages, apartment buildings as well as company and hotel parking spaces. Thanks to local dynamic load management, several networked wall boxes distribute the charging current to up to 16 hybrid or electric cars. In addition, the Wallbox can be installed inexpensively because it can be operated on any standard rotary power connection. Loading is so easy today.
Added value for tenants, guests, customers and employees
The Heidelberg Wallbox Energy Control can either be used individually or networked with up to 15 other wall boxes. This means that it offers companies tangible advantages. As a landlord or housing associations, make your residential properties fit for the electromobile future. As an employer, they make it easier for your employees to switch to climate -friendly cars. And as a hotel or restaurant operator, increase your attractiveness for guests who arrive with the E-Mobil.
Local dynamic load management and short loading times
Clever load management for several parking spaces at an affordable price? The Wallbox Energy Control makes it possible. To do this, you can network up to 16 wall boxes that optimally distribute the maximum available current to all connected vehicles - quite automatically. Via the type 2 connection, the Energy Control reliably loads each hybrid or electric car with a maximum of 11 kW-five times faster than at an ordinary household socket. As soon as a car is fully charged, it will continue to be supplied with sufficient electricity if necessary, for example to continue to operate the parking heating or air conditioning. The free power flows into the batteries of the other vehicles.
Easy installation without follow -up costs
Due to local dynamic load management, the Heidelberg Wallbox Energy Control can be driven easily and inexpensively on every 16-AM-AMPERE power connection, which has already been relocated in many places. This eliminates elaborate earth and conversion work that burden the budget. In addition, the Wallbox does not incur any follow-up costs because it works completely maintenance-free and only requires one watts in stand-by-by-mode.
Smart interaction with your photovoltaic system
The Wallbox Energy Control is also perfect if you produce your own electricity, for example, via a photovoltaic system. The already integrated communication interface (RS485) approved an external control. This allows the Wallbox to be connected to a 2-phase cable with its existing, in-house Home Energy Management System (HEMS). In this way, the excess current from the photovoltaic system can be used specifically for charging the electric vehicles. Conversely, the system only leads as much solar power into the wall box as is currently available. In this way, the Wallbox Energy Control guarantees a consumption -optimized feed -in of its self -produced electricity at any time.
Joyful and flexible expandable
Once the wall boxes are integrated into an HEMS, the charging system can be controlled by a local dynamic. Depending on the manufacturer, various apps for cost management or monitoring the charging processes are also available. To protect against unauthorized charging, the box can be locked externally. In addition, connections are To retrofit optionally available access controls via RFID, key switches etc. available.
Proven and robust technology
Like the ADAC test winner Heidelberg Wallbox Home Eco, the Heidelberg Wallbox Energy Control also scores with a high-quality and robust industrial production that takes place at Heidelberg after the zero error principle.
Municipalities can apply for funding for wallboxes. The following points must be observed:
- The deadline for implementation is 1 year after application.
- The subsidy is up to 900€ per charging point.
- The minimum grant amount is €9,000 with a minimum of 10 charging points.
- The charging power can be 22 kW.
- The charging stations are not intended for public access.
Exactly 9000€ can be funded for ten charging points, but only 70% of the total costs.
The total investment (purchase + installation) must therefore be at least 12857.14€.
If there are more than 10 charging points, 70% of the actual investment amount is subsidized up to a maximum of 900€ per charging point.
More information can be found on the website of the KfW. We are happy to help you with any questions!
IMPORTANT: Currently, it is not possible to submit new applications to KfW440 (residential buildings) to promote the wallbox.
However, if you have already submitted an application, you can still submit the invoice of the wallbox together with the invoice from the electrician and receive the 900€ subsidy. The deadline for submission is usually 9 months after the date of the application to KfW. The following points should be noted:
- Exactly €900 can be funded per charging point, provided that the total investment (purchase + installation) per charging point is at least €900.
- The submission to KfW must include the invoice of the wallbox, the invoice from the electrician and proof of use of green electricity.
- 22 kW wallboxes can be funded if they are on the list of eligible wallboxes and are throttled to 11 kW by the electrician.

Companies can submit applications for subsidies for wallboxes. The following points must be observed:
- The deadline for implementation is 1 year after application.
- The subsidy is up to 900€ per charging point.
- The charging capacity can be 22 kW.
- The charging stations are not intended for public access.
Exactly 900€ can be subsidized for one charging point, but only 70% of the total cost.
The total investment (purchase + installation) must therefore be at least 1285.71€ for one charging point.
If there are several charging points, 70% of the actual investment amount is subsidized up to a maximum of 900€ per charging point.

BMK environmental funding private charging infrastructure:
Applications can be made for funding for a wallbox or smart 3-phase charging cable. The following points must be observed:
- 600€ per charging point for a one- or two-family house.
- 900€ for a communication-capable wallbox in a multi-party house as a single installation or
- 1,800€ for a communication-enabled charging station with load management when installed in a multi-party house as part of a shared system
- Subsidy independent of vehicle purchase
- Implementation of the project within 36 weeks after application
- Application must be submitted before the first legally binding order is placed
- The electricity must come from renewable energies
The implementation must be carried out by a specialist electrical company. Material and installation costs (installation costs only for permanently mounted wallboxes) as well as the costs of the basic structural infrastructure for shared installations in a multi-party building are eligible.
