Give your Tesla an individual look with our matt black Tesla lettering for the tailgate, suitable for all Tesla models. The lettering is very similar to the original lettering, but gives your Tesla an additional sporty look thanks to the matt black color. The letters are already positioned in a matching foam template and have an adhesive strip on the back, which makes installation even easier.
All you need to do is remove the old Tesla emblem or the chrome-plated Tesla lettering for trouble-free installation. The new Tesla lettering can then simply be stuck on using the foam template.
Installation tip: It is advisable to clean the tailgate beforehand. Before the old lettering is removed, the exact position should be marked. In the case of a Tesla logo on the tailgate, it is advisable to mark the center for the later alignment of the lettering before removing the logo. This can easily be done with some adhesive tape, for example. Then carefully remove the individual letters or the glued-on logo. Dental floss, fishing line or a map can be used as an aid. Adhesive residue can be removed with a hairdryer and special adhesive removers using heat. If necessary, polish with a fine polishing agent. Then remove the first backing film from the letters, making sure that the letters remain in the stencil. Then carefully stick the letters with the stencil onto the cleaned surface and press down firmly. As soon as the letters adhere, the stencil can be removed together with the other backing film.
