Audi Concept C: Electrical TT successor with a roadster character

Audi dares with that Concept C A look into the future of his sports car DNA. Shortly before IAA 2025, the Ingolstadt residents present an electrical concept vehicle that the legendary Audi TT as E-car reinterpreted. With a two -seater layout, folding roof and a striking design language, the concept C is said to close the gap in the long term that TT and R8 have left after the end of production. However, there is a possible start of series production at the earliest 2028 - if any.

Electric roadster with tradition

The Concept C brings classic sports car proportions to e-mobility. The coupé turns into a Targa at the push of a button. The battery sits Behind the cabin, not in the underbody, which ensures particularly sporty driving dynamics. This layout is reminiscent of classic mid-engine sports cars and moves the focus back-optimal for agile driving behavior.

Audi emphasizes that the concept is more than pure nostalgia: it should Sports car character and electric drive Connect and transfer the TT-DNA into the future. It could also be technically up to date Porsche 718 orientate with which it should share some basics.

New design language

With the Concept C, Audi represents a new one "Vertical frame"-Design before:

  • Steeply standing cooler element on the front

  • Narrow, vertically arranged headlights

  • Puristic lines and reduced areas

This design language should also be future Limousins, station wagons and crossover shape and create a clear brand identity.

In the interior, Audi relies on minimalism: Light seat shells, clear operation and a 10.4-inch screen, which extends if necessary, ensure a reduced, modern look. The extremely flat seating position underlines the sports car character.

All -wheel drive or rear wheel?

It is still unclear whether the series model - should it come - Quattro all-wheel drive or only Rear -wheel drive will use. The latter indicates in Concept C with its narrow wheel arches and the small waist. For many fans, an Audi sports car without Quattro should be difficult to imagine.

Series chances are still open

Currently the concept c is a Design and technology study. A series version depends on market conditions and development priorities. There is no series start before mid to late 2028.

If Audi does the concept, it could be the gap between the coming E-SUVs and the planned Porsche 718 e Close and the dream of electrical roadster make it come true for Audi fans.
