Challenges for the e-car industry
Lucid names a "challenging macroeconomic environment" as the reason for the reduced forecast without going into detail. The entire industry is currently fighting with headwind:
-
US tariff Load manufacturers like Stellantis
-
Competition pressure from China puts companies like Renault under pressure
-
Loosened regulations under the US government Could reduce the demand for electric cars in the USA
