For KfW 439 for municipalities:
Municipalities can submit applications to promote wall boxes. The following points are to be observed:
- The deadline for the implementation is 1 year after the application
- The grant is up to € 900 per charging point
- The minimum subsidy is € 9,000 with at least 10 charging points
- The charging power can be 22 kW
- The charging stations are not intended for public access.

For KfW 440 for private individuals:
Important: It is currently not possible to make new applications from the KFW440 (residential building) to promote the wall box.
However, if you have already made an application, you can submit the invoice to the Wallbox together with the invoice from the electrician and receive the € 900 funding. The deadline for submission is usually 9 months after the date of the application at KfW. The following points are to be observed:
- Up to € 900 can be funded per loading point
- The submission to the KfW must contain the invoice of the Wallbox, the invoice from the electrician and proof of using green electricity
- 22 kW wall boxes can be funded if they are on the list of eligible wall boxes and are reduced by the electrician to 11 kW
