Neue Förderung für Wallboxen in Österreich!

Our Austrian customers can look forward to great news about Wallbox funding for Austria. With the new 2022 e-mobility offensive, you benefit from government funding for your new wall box. All funding offers listed will be valid for applications from February 2022 until March 31, 2023 (or as long as the budget is available). The Federal Ministry (BMK) is providing a total of 167.2 million euros. First of all, it is important that a wall box or the intelligent charging cable is also promoted independently of the vehicle purchase. So it pays to be quick!

It is important that you first register and then submit your application. After registration, the funding is reserved for the e-charging infrastructure. The project must then be implemented within 36 weeks. Purchasing electricity from renewable energies is a prerequisite for funding.

Funding offers for private charging infrastructure:

Single or two-family house: A wall box or intelligent 3-phase charging cable is funded with a total of 600 euros per wall box or intelligent charging cable.

Multi-party house: An intelligent, communication-capable wallbox is funded as a single system with a total of 900 euros per communication-capable wallbox.

Apartment building as part of a community facility: An intelligent communication-capable wall box with load management is funded with a total of 1,800 euros per communication-capable charging station as part of a community facility

When purchasing or installing the wallbox with a power of 3.68 kVA (approx. 3.7 kW), it is recommended to ensure that it has an interface so that power-reducing interventions can be carried out. Material and assembly costs (assembly costs only for permanently installed wall boxes) as well as the costs of the basic structural infrastructure for communal systems in an apartment building are eligible.

Funding offers for companies, local authorities and associations: Company charging infrastructure without public access

Fixed charging stations (posts or wall boxes) that are not publicly accessible are also funded.Mobile wall boxes and intelligent charging cables are not supported
