The universal ski bag CarCareBag, which fits in most newer cars and therefore also in the Tesla Model Y, offers a simple and safe solution for transporting skis and other long items in the vehicle without the need for a roof box, which drastically increases energy consumption. In addition, the high-quality ski bag protects the car seats from damage caused by steel edges or other sharp-edged objects. Practical and easy to use, the ski bag is attached to the car with the straps provided and can be stowed behind the rear seat when not in use. It fits in most modern cars, regardless of whether they are equipped with a folding middle seat or a 40/60 split rear seat bench. In the Tesla Model Y, only the middle section of the backrest needs to be folded down and secured. The ski bag is then routed via the center console towards the driver/passenger.
The ski bag is made of robust, waterproof polyester and offers space for 5-6 pairs of skis (depending on ski type, width and binding). With a double bottom and padding as well as strong straps to hold the skis securely, it is ideal for transporting equipment. The bag is double-stitched and made of high-quality material. However, 100% waterproofness cannot be guaranteed. The skis should be stowed in the bag as dry as possible,
Sturdy fastening straps are attached to all corners of the back for secure fastening. The set comes with six straps, four of which are equipped with metal snap hooks and two with a clever plastic clip. With a length of 110 cm, a width of 25 cm and a height of 40 cm, the CarCareBag V1.0 offers sufficient space. The maximum ski length is between 200 and 220 cm, depending on the space available in the car.
