More and more Chinese electropioners are relying on Europe-with BYD as a pioneer: In Szeged, the EU's first BYD car factory is being built, supported by a bus and truck plant in Komárom. The new one Byd HungaryStrategy aims at up to 200,000 vehicles per year and weakens EU criminal dazzling.
Production in Szeged: 150,000 vehicles from the end of 2025
BYD invests € 4 billion in Szeged, Südungarn, on 300 hectares. From the end of the year should be here Dolphine and Atto 3 run off the assembly line. With 150.000–200.000 Units of capacity/year is the largest car plant in Hungary and a counterweight to Teslas Giga Berlin.
