From the classic radiator grille to the illuminated design statement

For over 100 years, the Chrome grille has been an integral part of almost every Mercedes-Benz model-from the legendary 600 Pullman to the "line 8" to various S-Class series. What was once a functional element of the combustion era becomes a illuminated work of art.


The new grill consists of three main components:

  • Wide, chrome -plated frame

  • Gate structure in smoke glass optics

  • Integrated contour lighting

There is an optional version with 942 backlit points in pixel graphics that can even be animated. Central star and all -round contour are also illuminated.
