Based on the Volkswagen ID.4, VW launched the sporty ID.5 coupe variant a short time later. Thanks to the modified roofline, which in contrast to the ID.4 drops further at the rear, the ID.5 offers a better cw value as well as more range. It is also based on the electric modular platform (MEB). The Volkswagen ID.5 offers an electric range of up to 523 km WLTP. With its spacious interior, the vehicle offers plenty of room for occupants and sufficient stowage options in the trunk.
