Camera cover for the reversing camera of the Tesla Model 3/Y

The camera cover for the reversing camera of your Tesla Model 3 or Y encloses your camera and protects you with a hydrophobic film that rejects water and dirt. The camera cover is easy to install and visually transparent, so that it has no influence on the reversing camera or the color rendering.
Please note that the manufacturer recommends exchanging the cover after 4 to 6 months, since the effectiveness of the coating wanes. Cleaning with a glasses cleaning cloth helps to extend the function. Over time, however, the cover becomes less repellent, and then it should be replaced.

Assembly instructions:

1) As a first step, we recommend dismantling the license plate and frame. So you have better access to the camera. After installing the camera cover, the license plate including the frame can of course be mounted again.

2) Make sure that the area of ​​application is clean and completely dry. Please take the time to clean the area thoroughly. We also recommend mounting the camera cover at a temperature between 10 and 30 degrees. The environment should be dry during assembly.

Some Tesla cameras are equipped with this protective film. If it still sticks in this area, it must be removed to ensure that the camera cover is properly liable.

3) Clean the glue on the vehicle with a glasses cleaning cloth or some alcohol and let everything dry well.

4) Carefully remove the protective film on the adhesive side!

5) Center the comradeship at the bottom and back of the camera. Make sure that it lies precisely right -angled (all sides must be lying at the same time, not one side in front of the other).

6) When the camera cake is glued all around, it is pressed on by hand for a minute, the vehicle best lets the vehicle be at 24 to 48 hours to dry the adhesive. It is recommended not to wash the vehicle for about 7 days so that the adhesive can be fully adhered to.

Notes:

During the application, there may be a slight fogging of the cover when changing the temperature or high humidity - similar to sunglasses, which shines in an air -conditioned business after putting on. After a short time, the fitting disappears again without residue.

We recommend that we do not wash the car in a "contactless" car wash, as high -pressure cleaners are used up close, which can lead to water breakdowns.
